Michelle Lyle Vice President Public Relations

Michelle has more than 20+ years of national and international marketing and public relations management with high-tech firms and Fortune 500 companies. She has directed national and media campaigns for several clients such as Lockheed Martin, Motorola, Arianespace. She has worked with three of the largest worldwide Public Relations Agency (Fleishman-Hillard, Hill-Knowton, Burson-Marsteller, with APL (Ammirati Puris Lintas) a re-known advertising based in NY, and Landor, an agency specialized in branding also based in NY.

As an experienced publicist, Michelle has substantial expertise in all areas of public relations, including media relations, product placement and crisis communications. She has led 20 foreign public relations professionals in the launch a multi-billion dollar start-up simultaneously in 20 countries worldwide by providing overall Key messages, media materials and releases, company positioning and guidelines for consistency of worldwide messages.

While working for Lockheed Martin ILS, she directed a complete brand repositioning and a marketing campaign that grew the company from the underdog to the leader in the industry in 12 months. She established a systematic PR approach employing spin and counter messages to reshape and diffuse the negative image of services provided by the Russian partner.

She has worked on many projects such as the launch of the Iridium phone (has become a case study for top universities) involving national, trade, consumer and international media and organized numerous domestic and world press trips to Cape Canaveral, Kazakhstan & French Guiana.

Michelle also has extensive experience in marketing communications, relationship marketing, event planning, hospitality & trade shows. Lyle organized many charter trips for domestic and international customers to experience live launches from Cape Canaveral. While on those trips, she was also responsible for and hosted customer events in Cape Canaveral and Cocoa Beach hotels, in Orlando & Disney hotels. Lyle hosted thirty + media & customer events in national museums in DC, Paris, Moscow. She has attended trade shows in Japan, Germany, Singapore, Hong Kong, France, and USA.

She has executed several crisis communication plans to ensure effective response to media, customer, shareholder, and employee inquiries; guaranteed accurate coverage and reporting of the incidents with negligible negative impact to customers.

She has been honored with industry awards, has visited six continents for work and leisure and is a huge sports enthusiast. She speaks French fluently and some Spanish.
